SCCPS Partners with Sneakers Netball Club to Launch "Own Your Game" Campaign
The SCCPS is proud to announce a groundbreaking collaboration with the renowned Sneakers Netball Club and strategic partner MSD to launch “Own Your Game,” a powerful new campaign empowering women to take proactive steps in preventing cervical cancer.
Championing our mission to advance education and training in cervical health, SCCPS is convening this initiative to translate clinical guidelines into community action. The “Own Your Game” campaign directly supports Singapore’s efforts to eliminate cervical cancer by promoting awareness of prevention methods, including the recently updated screening guidelines that recommend HPV self-sampling as an option.
The campaign will officially launch on 19 October 2025 at the Sneakers Netball Challenge, where our President, Dr. Ida Ismail-Pratt, addresses the community on the importance of cervical cancer prevention.
This collaboration will feature several key components:
- Ambassador Training: SCCPS will conduct a specialized training workshop for Sneakers Netball Club members, equipping them to become informed “Own Your Game” ambassadors within their networks.
- Expert-Led Outreach: Our medical professionals will provide expert input on campaign messaging and participate in community engagements to educate and empower women.
- Future Initiatives: The partnership will extend into 2026, with plans for our trained ambassadors to volunteer with SCCPS for initiatives like HPV SIMPLE, further amplifying our public health outreach.
By uniting the sporting excellence of Sneakers Netball Club with the medical authority of SCCPS and the support of MSD, “Own Your Game” aims to inspire a generation of women to own their health with the same confidence and determination they bring to the court.
