SCCPS Announces Leadership Milestone on the Global Stage

The SCCPS is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Ida Ismail-Pratt, current SCCPS President, to the Board of the International Papillomavirus Society (IPVS). The appointment was officially confirmed at the 37th International Papillomavirus Conference (IPVC 2025) in Bangkok, Thailand.
Founded in 2000, IPVS is a leading global non-profit dedicated to eliminating human papillomavirus (HPV)-related diseases—including cervical, anogenital, and oropharyngeal cancers—through its network of scientists, clinicians, and policymakers from over 100 countries. IPVS advances these goals via cutting-edge research, telementoring, public education, and advocacy, with its flagship International Papillomavirus Conference serving as the premier platform for global HPV prevention and elimination strategies.
Dr Ismail-Pratt’s board role amplifies Singapore’s influence in combating HPV-related cancers. As a founding member of the Asia Pacific HPV Coalition, she brings a vital Southeast Asian perspective to these global efforts.
