This was announced to the O&G

at the same time.
A final reminder letter was
sent out in December 2004. At the closing date for the
grandfather’s clause on the 31st December 2004, there
were a total of 181 colposcopists registered.
For those who registered earlier
under the grandfather’s clause, the time for their
2 yearly renewal has come. In order to align all “grandfathers”,
the SCCPS council and CRC committee have decided to extend
the renewal period for all “grandfathers” till
30 November 2006.
In order to remain on the register
beyond that date, it is necessary to have attended a postgraduate
colposcopy course and submit form Annex 3. Please note
that the maintenance fee of $50 has been waived.
